Why choose Aerial Photography?

Aerial photography is an incredibly useful tool for holiday properties, especially those within a close proximity to the sea, a rural location or with large grounds. It helps to show the extent of a property and garden and gives a different perspective that helps market a property to a potential guest or buyer.

For real estate, aerial photography can help sell a property up to 68% quicker!

Photos can be taken anywhere from ground level up to 400ft and up to 500ft away from the property, which allows for close-up views, as well as higher and further away photos showing the surrounding countryside or coastline.

Almost all properties I photograph are suitable for aerial photography and benefit from this, alongside internal and external photography. Only properties in very built-up areas or close to airports or "no-fly zones" are not suitable.

Drones are also great for creating aerial videos, which gives a snapshot of a property and its location. This can make a big difference for larger properties in great locations, like Studland Bay House below!

Aerial photography is suitable for almost all types of property and doesn't just have to be restricted to larger, more expensive properties. In fact, the aerial image, I find, is almost always the lead shot in an estate agents online listing, or a holiday listing as it shows the property, some of the surroundings and is taken at a better angle than you can get from the ground. So make sure you use aerial photography to provide the wow factor that could make all the difference.

This is why I think it is virtually essential to opt for aerial photography alongside your interior and exterior photography. It can also be a great help in showing outbuildings, gardens, annexes, pools, garages, building plots and land boundaries. For shots taken from further up and further away, I can use a subtle white arrow to indicate the location of the property (if it isn't already obvious) and potentially other arrows to indicate points of interest nearby that are shown in the photo, for example a local town, beach, park etc.

Add that WOW factor!
